Families United

Families United

Families United is a 3 month course with weekly sessions for parents & carers and activity days for the whole family.

The weekly sessions for parents and carers include classroom based sessions learning about wellbeing, resilience and family dynamics combined with a range of practical activities and visits in the local area.
The family days include team-building and family resilience activities together with fun and challenging practical activities.

It is open to families in South Tyneside who could benefit from developing family resilience skills to help them deal with any challenging circumstances they might be experiencing.

The course is free to eligible participants.

We currently have 3 courses planned.  Starting dates are in October 2024,  January 2025 and April 2025.

If you are interested in applying for a place or you know someone who might benefit please get in touch by email at [email protected] or by  using our contact form     Contact us
