Give

For parents
Parent take part in practical sessions finding out about different ways people contribute to their communities.  Sessions might include:
  • a presentation from a voluntary group
  • training and looking at volunteering opportunities
  • a group volunteering session (e.g. on a community allotment)

Parents are encouraged to identify a volunteering opportunity they are interested in and commit to it for a number of weeks.

For families
We work with parents to find opportunities in the local community to involve the whole family with giving.  This could be a fund raising event such as Comic Relief or Children's Cancer Run or an environmental activity.
