Session Four: Stress

A lot of us talk about feeling stressed - but what does that really mean?  Is there really such a thing as 'good stress'?

Another video about stress..

Give

Giving is about more than material gifts like Christmas and birthday  presents.

We talk about 'giving compliments' which shows that we have noticed someone doing something good and let them know that we appreciated it.

We can give our words and our time.
For your individual challenge try to find a way to give someone some of your time.
This could be a small way like letting someone take your turn in a queue in the shops or talking to a neighbour.
It could be in a big way like volunteering (although options are limited during Covid restrictions).
You could even give yourself some time - like a relaxing bath time with candles.

Volunteering with heritage & wildlife organisations

Heritage and wildlife organisations rely on volunteers to support their work.  They have a wide range of different interesting roles.  Many have suspended their volunteer programmes at the moment but their websites give an idea of what is usually available.  Have a look at these links and see if there is anything that appeals to you!
