Individual Challenges
Take Notice: Go out for a walk - a favourite one or somewhere new. Take notice of the details. If you have a camera or a phone, take photos close-framed to highlight details and patterns.
Keep Learning: Say Hello in languages from around the World
Give: Write or make a card to give to someone in the community who has been supportive to you or to others during this year. It could be the postman, the people in the corner shop, the GP surgery - or someone you know personally.
Be Active: Try to keep count of the distance you walk up to our next session. We'll add them up and see how far we have walked together.
Connect: Is there someone you have lost contact with over the years? Or someone you know will be alone during lockdown? Why not try and find a way to make contact again? Facebook, phone, email, text, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, Skype, Zoom.... or old fashioned snail mail

Family Challenges
Wellbeing Challenges provide opportunities for our course participants to put their new skills into action in their every day lives in their local community.
The challenges are framed around the 5 Ways to Wellbeing: Keep Learning, Give, Take Notice, Be Active, Connect.
They are introduced through fortnightly sessions for parents beginning with a session about the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.
Part of each challenge is for the parents and carers. Through these challenges parents will not only be able to improve their wellbeing but will develop skills and experience that will help them access opportunities for learning and employment.
The other part of each challenge is led by the parents and carers and will involve their whole family. These challenges give the parents and carers a leading role in guiding positive family experiences.
